Terre Haute KOAMeet Your Hosts "Big rig friendly" is how Keith and Mary Davidson describe their KOA campground. The couple owns not one, but two campgrounds - each very different from the other, but both grown from their hard work. The Terre Haute KOA sits in the country and is laden with scenery Keith and Mary feel is worthy of multiple visits. The couple prides themselves in the work done to enhance a visitor's stay. "This is a family-owned and run campground; we take great pride in our service to people," said Keith. The campground is heavily shaded, and the sites are level pull-throughs - great for accommodating the biggest RV's around. Amenities are numerous and include free cable and WiFi. "We run a fun, clean campground," added Keith. Kids are able to ride bikes and also swim in the pool. A game room provides fun for the cool days and the campground offers weekend activities. "The activities give parents a chance to spend time with their kids or take a break and have some time alone," said Keith. The campground is also close to town for those wanting to experience the races near Indianapolis. Keith and Mary say the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. "They go the extra mile or two to help out," said Keith. The couple enjoys talking with their guests, and, although the park is mostly overnight, it is slowly becoming more of a destination park - a goal they have strived for since they purchased it. "We enjoy people, being with people, talking with them, and learning about them. We wouldn't be in this business otherwise," said Keith. Come meet The Davidson Family. |
